The distinctive light has inspired many painters over time, and you can see their extraordinary works at the Skagen Museum.

But Skagen is much more than that. Long walks on the beach, lush nature with many protected areas, a lively city life with cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and shopping in a wide range of small and large stores. The harbor is also worth a visit where you can get fresh fish and see the large cruise ships when they are in port.
